Love Beyond Blood Foundation was born out of lived experience. When our founder welcomed her youngest daughter to her family not only did it open up her heart it ignited a deep desire to build a supportive network for others navigating this complex path. This personal experience has given her a deep understanding of the struggles and triumphs kinship families endure. She knows firsthand the financial, emotional, and mental toll caregiving can take and also the immense joy, happiness and purpose it brings. That's why she has dedicated her life to ensure no kinship caregiver feels unseen, unsupported, or alone. Love Beyond Blood Foundation was founded out of a desire to honor the silent strength of people like herself, who simply did what love demanded. They really are unsung heroes. She's proud to turn her story into action, and we invite you to join her in creating a network of hope, healing, and lasting support. .
Love Beyond Blood Foundation is a nonprofit organization. Our mission is rooted in love, resilience, and family unity dedicated to supporting kinship caregivers. Those selfless individuals, often relatives, who step up to raise children when biological parents are unable to. Unlike foster or adoptive parents, kinship caregivers often receive little to no support. Love Beyond Blood Foundation fills this critical gap by providing essential resources, emotional support, and financial aid to help keep families united and children out of the foster care system. We empower and support kinship caregivers and the children they are graciously raising.

Yes. You do need some type of documentation showing that the child is living with you and that you are the caregiver responsible for them. We understand that kinship situations look different for every family. Some caregivers have full legal guardianship through the court. Others are in the middle of the process. Some are caring for a child through a family arrangement and are still working on legal steps. To protect the children we serve and to make sure support is going to the right home, we require proof of kinship placement or caregiving responsibility. This can include one or more of the following: • A court order showing guardianship, temporary guardianship, custody, or placement. • A notarized letter that explains the child is living with you and that you are the person providing daily care. • School documentation showing the child is enrolled with your address. This can include a letter from the school or official enrollment documents listing you as the caregiver and the child living with you. • Other official documentation that confirms the child resides with you and you are responsible for them. If you are not sure what you have counts, do not worry. Email us what you do have and we will let you know what works. Our goal is not to make things hard. Our goal is to serve families safely, responsibly, and fairly. .
